Spending Estimates vote tonite

Federal Government spending estimates for the year are to be voted on
this evening & there is a possibility, however slight, the Liberals could be
defeated.
1 flash point will be a conservative motion to remove $96 million in
funding for the gun registry which would effectively kill the program.

Deputy Tory leader Peter McKay will introduce the motion, voting is scheduled to start around 9 this evening Dryden time.
