A Dryden man has been arrested following a police chase.
Provincial Police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on Highway 17, just west of Vermilion Bay around 2:30 Monday morning.
The driver wouldn’t stop but the vehicle eventually came to a halt with the use of a spike belt.
OPP say the man still tried to flee by running into the bush.
Officers were finally able to convince the driver into surrendering himself.
Police say the man was intoxicated.
OPP say 26-year-old Richard Halverson faces five charges.
