The stacks are quiet at Dryden’s Weyerhaeuser mill today.
All production has been halted following a spill of black liquor into
the lagoon.
THe halt was ordered over the weekend, but company spokesperson
Bonnie Skeene says there is no word yet on the planned fall maintaince
shutdown set to begin on Sunday.

All employees are still on the job, doing maintainence in other parts
of the mill.
Production could resume in the next couple of days.
