The first ‘We Run This City’ half marathon and 10-kilometre race in Dryden is one month away.
Organizer Liz Godin says the event is September 2nd and registrations are still being accepted.
Godin says they are also looking for sponsorship and volunteers.
She stresses they want all of their registration fees to go towards different community recreational events and that’s why it’s important to have sponsorship.
All proceeds from this years race support the Ghost and Mavis Lake trail system, which is currently maintained by volunteers.
