Spraying Underway for Budworm

The Ministry of Natural Resources has launched its aerial spray
program to combat the jackpine budworm in the region.
The home base for operatons is the Dryden Airport and Manager George
Friesen says 12 aircraft and some 30-staff are situated at the facility.
He notes the workers will be in Dryden for several days which will
provide significant economic spin-off’s for the community.
