The Provincial Government was given bad advice which led to a bad decision.
Canadian Outdoor Heritage Alliance Project Co-Ordinator Ray Gosselin is referring to the cancellation of the spring spring bear hunt.
Gosselin is calling for the immediate reinstatement of the hunt and says he has plently of support.
Gosselin has presented the Natural Resources Minister with 82-letters from Ontario municipalities.
He says some communities have reported as many as 134-nuisance bear problems this year.
Its also estimated that tourist outfitters have lost 40-million dollars annually due to the cancellation of the hunt.
