The Staal Foundation PGA tour is coming up in a months time in Thunder Bay.
The Carolina Hurricanes’ Jordan Staal as well as his brothers will be taking part in a charity street hockey tournament during the golf tournament.
Staal says he’s excited to see how his ice skills translate to pavement.
Proceeds from the charity tournament will go towards the regional cancer care initiatives.
The tournament is coming up July 11th and will run for a week.
The golf tournament is still in need of volunteers and people to act as caddies for the premier event.
Organizers have made a big splash with the announcement that NHL legend Bobby Orr will be back to take part.
Spokesperson Scott Smith says Orr had such a good time last year, that he decided to come back.
