A 19-year-old man from the remote Northern community of Kingfisher Lake First Nation faces a couple of charges in connection to a stabbing incident.
Nishinabe-Aski Police responded to a call, after a man had been stabbed in the mid-section by a knife.
His common-law wife was also assaulted, sustaining punches to the face.
The stabbing victim was airlifted to Kenora Hospital for treatment.
The suspect was arrested a short time after the incident and faces charges of aggravated assault assault.
