Stabbing Under Investigation In Sandy Lake First Nation

The Nishnawbe Aski Police Service Detachment in Sandy Lake First Nation is investigating a stabbing.

Officers say early Wednesday morning they received the report of a stabbing in the community.

Police say they arrived at the scene and found a 28 year-old male who sustained injuries to his chest.

NAPS say the man is currently in medical care and is in stable condition.

Police say no arrests have been made yet and anyone with information is asked to contact Acting Detective Sergeant Alana Morrison at 807-738-2885.
