The Dryden Airport is moving ahead with a project that has been on the back-burner for some time.
Council has approved the construction of a Staff Ready Room that will be housed next to the Maintenance building.
Airport Manager George Friesen says there’s been a need for the facility for over 40-years.
The building will house training, washroom and kitchen facilities as well as a Foreman’s Office.
The successful tender came in $12,000 over budget so the funds will be pulled from Airport Reserves.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of next month.
