Several retirements were behind a massive shuffle of staff and resources at schools across the Keewatin-Patricia School District this past school year.
That’s according to Director of Education Sean Monteith, who says Dryden and Sioux Lookout were the most impacted.
Monteith says changes have been made that follow their restructuring plan and he notes that plan is completed.
One of the big changes on the senior staffing level was the appointment of a new Superintendent of Business due to the retirement of Dean Carrie.
Monteith adds they have reduced some senior level positions and believes they have found some efficiencies.
