Stand-Off in Fort Frances

A 12-hour stand-off ended without any major problems in Fort Frances over the weekend.
OPP responded to a reported assault in the Scott Street area.
A man was transported to Hospital with serious injuries, while a second man barricaded himself inside a home.
Some nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution and a section of the street was closed to traffic.
The accused eventually surrendered to Police.
No names have been released.
No charges have been laid.
