Stand-Off in Grassy Narrows First Nation

A lengthy stand-off is continuing on the Grassy Narrows First Nation, near Kenora.
Treaty Three Police were called out to a residence in the community around 1:00 Thursday morning.
Since then, a number of OPP officers have been dispatched to the scene and have a house surrounded.
Its believed just one person has barricaded himself inside a home on Grassy.
Police are hoping to bring the stand-off to a peaceful conclusion soon.
