A Sioux Lookout man is in custody in relation to a weekend stand-off in Wabigoon.
Provincial Police responded to a report of an assault just before 10 o’clock Sunday morning at a home on Cemetery Road.
The suspect barricaded himself inside the residence with another person.
The accused was taken into custody without any injury around 7 that night.
OPP say 37 year old Nathaniel Kamenawatamin has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
Police note further charges are pending as the investigation is ongoing.
Some area roads were closed for several hours as officers dealt with the situation and asked people to avoid the area.
OPP stress there was no public safety concern.
