Mike Richards has enjoyed his 24 hours with the Stanley Cup.
The most famous trophy in sport arrived in Kenora Friday night and then was close up and personal with more than 3,000 fans Saturday afternoon.
Richards gave credit to the community for their continued support througout his career.
Richards says the welcome exceeded his wildest dreams.
The L.A. Kings star posed with the Stanley Cup for two hours while hundreds of people lined up to get their picture taken with him.
Richards also took time for a phot op with the Cup in front of the Plaque honoring the 1907 Kenora Thistles, who also won the trophy 105 years ago.
