Stars 1 and 0 at Dudley Hewitt

The SIJHL representative at the Dudley Hewitt Cup is off to a flying start in Georgetown. The Fort William North Stars downed the St. Michael’s Buzzers 6-4 in the first game of round robin play. The Stars pumped in four goals in the second period to pull away for the Southern Ontario League Champions. Eagle Lake’s Albert Kavanaugh notched one assist for the Stars. Fort William will hit the ice tomorrow evening against the host Georgetown Raiders at 6:30 p.m. local time.
