Get ready for the first real snowfall of the year.
An Alberta Clipper is barrelling towards us and it’s expected to dump 5 to 10 centimetres of snow in the Red Lake area.
The Dryden area is expected to receive 5 to 7 centimetres.
CKDR Meterologist Bill Laidlaw says the storm is expected to hit us around midnight and driving will be treacherous in the morning.
The southern portion of the region will see less snow, but may experience ice pellets or freezing rain.
