Homicide rates among aboriginals continues to be a problem area.
Statistics Canada says the rate for aboriginals is about six times higher than non-aboriginals.
Last year, Canadian police services reported 516-homicides.
23% of that total involved aboriginals.
The findings also show aboriginal men were in the greatest risk group.
