Status Quo for Brett Resources in Atikokan

Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown says “it’s all good” regarding the future of Brett Resources in the community.
President and CEO Patrick Soares visited Atikokan last week to update residents concerning the “friendly take over bid” from Osisko Mining Corporation.
Brown says the next step will be waiting until the transaction closes on May 19th.
He stresses work will continue on the Hammond Reef Project with 6 active drills and about 70 workers.
Some 125 residents attended the public meeting.
