Status Quo for NAPS 2

nishnawbe-aski police chief paul trivett says plans to remove officers
from 37-detachments in the far north are on hold.
kashechewan leaders have sat down with the public safety ministry and
have agreed to resume negotiations in early april.
trivett says the message has been delivered that everyone is frustrated
with the lack of police infrastructure.

n035 runs: 23 sec. out…police services.

trivett adds at issue is the lack of funding for health care and
other basic services in remote communities.
