Status Report Set To Be Handed Down On New High School In Sioux Lookout

Another small step in the advancement of a new High School in Sioux Lookout will be made today.
Keewatin-Patricia District School Board Director of Education Sean Monteith and the Project Supervisor will be meeting with officials from Sioux Mountain and Queen Elizabeth.
Monteith says they continue to go back-and-forth with the government on design, occupancy, space, usage and other issues.
The $30 million facility will be built at the current Q.E. site and is expected to be open in time for the 2016 school year.
Monteith notes real progress will be made once the ground thaws.
