Stay Off Eagle River

Boaters are being asked to stay off of Eagle River this long weekend.
High water levels snapped a number of logs, upstream of the Sundridge Power Dam.
The waterway will remain closed until the flood threat subsides.
Most lakes and rivers are facing high water levels with debris cluttering the path of boaters.
Extreme caution is urged across the Region.
