Stay Off the Ice!

Believe it or not, a 69-year-old Manitoba man ventured out onto thin ice this past weekend just east of Minaki.
The OPP’s marine unit was called to Worth Lake.
Lake of the Woods Search and Rescue assisted in the retrieval of the man.
The man was airlifted to Kenora Hospital where he was treated for hypothermia and later released.
