16 new fires ignited across Northwestern Ontario over the long
weekend.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Debbie McLean says
the new starts were both lightning and human caused.
Kenora #41, about 25-kilometres east of Sioux Narrows
started last week due to lightning and is now being held at 200-hectares.
Across Ontario, 15-fires are still burning, but are under control.
