The United Steelworkers Union says it wants Abitibi-Consolidated to sell its newsprint mill in Kenora if the company won’t run both paper machines.
The mill closed down indefinitely over the weekend.
Gary Talarico is a spokesperson for the U.S.W. and says they met with a prospective buyer last week.
