Step 1 in Oxdrift Local Services Board

The wheels are in motion to create a local services board in Oxdrift.
Such a Board would allow the Townships involved to collect a levy in
order to run fire and 9-1-1 service.
The current volunteer levy is not enough and has forced officials to
look at the future of emergency services.
A group of volunteers came forward last night to begin the process.
