Still A Way From Fundraising Goal

Thunder Bay’s Disaster Relief Committee is out with its latest fundraising figure.
Just over 1.2 million dollars has been raised so far, and more is expected to come in by the end of the month.
However Chair Wayne Fletcher says it’s a far cry from their original goal of 5 million dollars.
He adds even if they don’t raise the full 5 million dollars, they still need a lot more to give 100% funding to the victims of the May 28th flood, who either had inadequate or no insurance.
