Despite warmer weather this week, still very little forest fire activity in the region.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says there’s only one blaze burning.
It’s a relatively large 60 hectare wild fire in Woodland Caribou Park.
The lightning-caused fire is currently being monitored by MNR fire crews.
There are currently almost 600 Ontario fire Rangers out west battling wild fires, though some of the crews are expected to start returning home this weekend.
