Still Chilly For Pets

It’s finally starting to warm up out there, but the weather is still bitter cold for some, including pets.
The Second Chance Pet Network in Dryden is out with a number of reminders.
Rebecca Tibbs says your dog or cat can get frostbite in less than 10-minutes.
Tibbs adds that if you leave your dog outside, make sure their waterbowl is plastic or glass so it doesn’t freeze.
She notes that cats like to hide underneath cars to keep warm, so before you start your car, honk or bang on the hood.
Tibbs is also important to brush your animal on a regular basis to improve their circulation.
