Still Hope for Electronic Recycling Sites in North

The Ontario Independent Electronic Stewardship isn’t giving up on setting up collection depots for old computers televisions and cellphones in the North.
Executive Director Carol Hochu says the program is a good one for businesses, municipalities or community groups to be involved.
The program was set up a year ago and expanded last month to eliminate old electronic items going to landfill.
The only regional depots are in Thunder Bay.
