Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton isn’t optimistic regarding the future of Greyhound Bus service in Northern Ontario.
A Spokesperson for Transportation Minister Jim Bradley says given the Ontario government’s $24.7-billion deficit due to fighting the global recession, it is not considering subsidizing a private bus line.
Greyhound Canada says it will reduce or eliminate service on 6-of its bus routes in Ontario effective January 17th.
