The City of Dryden escaped the teeth of a major storm.
Environment Canada issued a tornado warning for much of the region
Sunday, however Forecaster Denis Paquet says there were no reports of
twisters touching down.
The storm did drop about 15-millimetres of rain in some parts of the
region, produced hail in the Kenora area and knocked down
trees from Vermilion Bay, west to the Manitoba boundary.
