Strat Plan Success for Public Board

Its midway through the school year and the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is giving itself a passing grade on implementing its 2009-2010 strategic plan.
Caryl Hron is the Assistant to the Director of Education and says one of their new initiatives is aimed at parents of students in Junior and Senior Kindergarten.
Board Administration says they have implemented between 40-50% of the goals set out in the strategic plan.
The 2-main goals of the strategic plan are to improve student achievement and to ensure adequate resources and programs for aboriginal students in the school system.
