Street Racing Charge on Highway 17A

A Winnipeg man has been charged with street racing after he was caught
traveling in excess of 140-kilometres an hour on Highway 17A near Kenora.
OPP stopped the eastbound vehicle Saturday and officers believed the driver
was impaired.
30-year-old Lanny Perlin faces counts of impaired, racing a motor
vehicle and having alcohol readily available.
His vehicle has been impounded for 7-days.
