Strike Averted

A looming province-wide strike by college support workers has been averted.
A tentative agreement between the union and the group
representing Ontario’s 24 colleges was reached Sunday night.
OPSEU bargaining chair Rod Bemister says the deal includes three
per cent raises for staff for each of the next three years.
He said new language protecting staff from bullying and
psychological harassment in the workplace was also added.
