Strike Date Set at Ignace Sawmill

Contract talks between Bowater and unionized employees at the Ignace sawmill have broken off.
Industrial Wood and Allied Workers Union Spokesperson Joe Hanlon says a strike date has been set for August 1st.
The strike affects about fifty employees.
Hanlon says Bowater wants to contract out a large number of jobs in the woodyard.
That issue is the main stumbling point.
