It was a successful 2021 for Tbaytel.
The company has released its year-end Report to the Community with more than $217 million in revenue in earnings reported.
Through the Tbaytel for Good sponsorship program, in excess of $719,000 was handed out to organizations, people and events in 10 regional communities.
The report also states that the company continued to bring its products and services to more people than ever before with new mobility towers and the addition of LTE to sites throughout the region to increase the speed and capacity of its mobility network.
CEO Dan Topatigh says, “Strategic partnerships, a strong financial performance, investments and innovations in our products and services and the continued trust in Tbaytel from our customers all contributed to an incredibly successful year. Tbaytel is proud to play such an essential role in our region and we look forward to another strong performance, together, in 2022.”
The telecommunications company turned over a dividend of almost $22 million to the City of Thunder Bay alone.
