Studded Tires Can Start Being Used On Monday

The province is giving drivers in northern Ontario the edge on winter.
Beginning Monday, motorists can put studded tires on their vehicle.
The province is extending the period when studs can be used, going now from September 1st to May 31th.
Previously, they could be used between October and April.
Vehicles licensed outside the province may also use studded tires, as long as the vehicles are used for less than a month at a time.
