Student Art Show In Sioux Lookout

Students at Queen Elizabeth High School are hosting an art show at the Centennial Centre.
It will feature pieces from the Northern Nishnawbe Education Council.
Visual Arts Teacher Lance Hildebrand says his grade 11 class, along with students from Pelican Falls First Nations High School worked hard on the exhibit.
It’s called “Northern Expressions: Come Into the Woodlands”.
Hildebrand says they host art shows in the school but have never gone outside the doors.
He says this will be a great experience for the students.
Hildebrand says 50-students and 7-teachers were involved in creating the work.
The display opens next Monday, but the opening celebration will be held on May 1st at 7:00pm.
