Student Leadership Program

The Northwest Catholic District School Board is implementing a new program within its schools to develop the leaders of tomorrow, today.
The student leadership program helps students become more engaged and work on local projects within their own schools.
Education Director Mary-Catherine Kelly says there will be activities within all their schools.
Kelly says they’re also looking at bringing the young leaders to a conference in Thunder Bay where they will share their work with students from across Northern Ontario.
She says teachers are now in the process of identifying students for the program.
