Student Patrol Program Cut From Police Budget

Dryden Police won’t be offering its student patrol program this summer.
The initiative has fallen victim to city budget cuts.
The Police Service has traditionally hired two students for the summer season.
The program was partly funded by the province, but funding has been scaled back considerably over the years.
Chief Rob Davis is hoping to bring back the program next year.
