There’s more then just snow on the grounds at the Dryden High School.
A number of students that volunteer with the Northwestern Health Unit sprayed 36 black snow angels yesterday evening.
Youth Engagement Coordinator Roberta Lappage says they represent the number of deaths in Ontario due to tobacco use.
Announcements have been playing all day at the high school, explaining the significance of the angels.
Lappage is encouraging any student who wants to get involved in tobacco prevention with the NWHU to contact her at 223-3301 ext. 3534.
