Grade 7 and 8 students in the Keewatin-Patricia School District are
making huge strides in math.
The Board released its mid-year math assessment and students in Grade 7
scored a 42% success rate in level 3, compared to 14% a year
before.
Grade 8 students saw a 44% success rate, compared to 18%
last year.
Officials credit newly created math focus groups and teacher awareness.
