Substance Abuse Conference In Sioux Lookout

Addressing the issue of addictions in Northwestern Ontario.
The Sioux Lookout Healthy Community Task Force is holding a conference Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sioux Lookout Community Development and Communications Manager Brian MacKinnon says the main goal is to develop a strategy to fight substance abuse and its related social challenges.
MacKinnon says over 270 people have registered for the conference.
He notes the goal is to create a community strategy to combat substance abuse.
A number of guest speakers are scheduled to address delegates.
