A hockey game where the score really didn’t matter.
Members of the Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout and Lac Seul Police faced off against the Sioux Lookout Fire Department on the weekend for the ‘Battle of the Badges’.
It was a fundraiser for Sierra Hoppe, a popular young athlete and student who recently passed away suddenly.
Two thousand dollars was collected to establish a bursary in her name.
On the ice the Fire Department defeated the OPP 6-4.
Over 200 people attended the event.
