Northwestern Ontario residents donated over 13,000 books during
the recent Lieutenant Governor’s Book Drive.
OPP Detachments across the Region collected the reading material to
help improve literacy rates among First Nation youth in the North.
The Canadian Military is expected to pick up the books in the coming
days and they will distributed to remote communities in March.
