Successful First Day For Eagles Track Team At NWOSSA

The Dryden Eagles are off to a flying start at the NWOSSA Track and Field championship in Thunder Bay.

The Blue and Gold lead all schools in the combined team category and are in second place in the Boys and Girls divisions.

The Eagles broke five NWOSSA records on day one, records that have been kept since the 1950’s.

Andie Wood and Jacob Benson set records in the Steeplechase event.

It was a clean sweep in Junior Girls Discus as Lindsay Coles, Ally Wisneski and Marcie Coles finished 1,2,3.

Lindsay Coles set a record.

The event continues Wednesday.
