The Alzheimer Society Ride for Memories fell just short of its financial goal, but the event is still being hailed a huge success.
More than $31,000 was raised, which was about $4,000 shy of the goal.
But Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts Lynn Moffatt says the turnout was huge.
A record 160 motorcycle enthusiasts from across Northwestern Ontario participated.
Money raised supports families and people suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia related diseases.
Successful Ride for Memories
