Nishnawbe-Aski Nation members and aboriginal youth are in Thunder Bay
for the first youth suicide prevention conference.
Delegate Violet Chum believes the awareness programs will pay off in the
long run.

Chum says a number of teens have shared their experiences which has
swayed the minds of several youth who were tempting suicide.
