Summer Beaver Youth Not Able to Receive Award

A good news, bad news story for a student from the remote Northern
community of Summer Beaver.
Justin Beaver has won an Ontario medal for young volunteers however he
wasn’t able to attend the Toronto ceremony Saturday because he’s in hospital
recovering from injuries he sustained in an assault in Thunder Bay.
Jane Tuesday is the Summer Beaver School Principal and says Beaver
has been a great role model for other kids in the community.
Tuesday is hoping the Lieutenant Governor will be able to present the
award to Beaver in person at a later date.
